About

I am a creative and enthusiastic arts professional who works in a freelance capacity on a broad range of both formal and informal educational arts, crafts & literacy projects across galleries, museums, cultural venues and schools in the North West of England and North Wales.

Passionate about Arts and Culture, I have organised and delivered an extensive range of projects within set deadlines and budgets. I consider myself to be a lively communicator with the attributes to work as part of a team, manage staff/volunteers or work independently when and where required. I enjoy working with all ages and abilities and my commitment to working in both formal and informal arts educational settings is proven with over 20 years experience.

Profile

I began my career as an Art & Design teacher in the North West for six years before studying for my MA in Museology. I worked for National Museums Liverpool for four years as an Exhibitions Officer and an Education Officer before setting up my own business as an Artist Educator. As a freelancer I am able to deliver both formal & informal art & craft workshops (creation & delivery), work as an exhibitions facilitator and create educational resources (written/visual resources & handling collections) and facilitate arts projects.

I currently work as a freelance Arts Award Moderator for Trinity College London and I am DBS checked.
